What are the benefits of accepting payments with LeveledSMPro?

LeveledSMPro offers simple flat rate fees for accepting payments. No setup fees, monthly or hidden fees to worry about. Our pay as you go pricing model allows customers the convenience of paying for our services only when they need to accept a payment.

LeveledSMPro is also partnered with one of the largest and most successful payment processors in the world, Stripe! Stripe ensures safe and secure transmission of your personal information. Your privacy is very important to us.

How can I start accepting payments with LeveledSMPro?

Once you sign up with LeveledSMPro, log in and click on the “Connect with Stripe” button under the Menu tab. You will submit basic information required by Stripe to start receiving payments. Get started in minutes.

Are there any fees?

There are only fees for the merchants (Contractors) to receive payments. A 5% flat fee is assessed per successful card charge. There is no fee to send money.

In the event of a chargeback, you will be assessed a $15 fee for any returned funds. In the event of a refund, a fee of 2.9% +30c may be applied.

How soon will I receive my first payment?

There is a 7-10 day payment verification period after the initial transaction. This period applies to all new accounts. What this means is that the first payment will take 7 days to process while your account is verified. Each payment afterwards will process according to a 2-day payout schedule.

How long does it take for a payment to become available in my account?

Your merchant account is on a 2-day rolling period, which means funds are released daily 2 days after the payment is released. Any delays over this 2-day rolling period could be caused by your bank. Every effort is made to clear funds as quickly as possible.

Are there limits to how much I can pay?

Yes. The minimum transaction amount is $15. No one transaction can be over $3000.00. If you feel there is a transaction amount that may exceed this, please reach out to us and speak with an associate.

What happens if my account becomes negative?

If you have a negative balance due to a returned transaction, your payouts will be used to reconcile your negative balance before paying out to your bank account.

How do I manage my banking information?

To change your bank account information:

  1. Log into your LeveledSMPro account.
  2. In the Menu, select My Account, then click on the Payment Info tab.
  3. Click on the “Add an Account” button below.
  4. Fill in the required details.

Stripe is asking for more information. Is this okay?

Yes. Stripe may follow up with you requesting more information to verify your account. This is normal. When signing up for LeveledSMPro we try to make the process as smooth as possible by taking the minimum amount of information from you so that you can get started sooner. If you feel that you are being asked for information that is not from LeveledSMPro or Stripe, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

How can I use my LeveledSMPro project account?

You may hold funds towards your project in this account, and release them when needed. Users can use this strategy to show proof of funds for the project, or the next phase of work.

How long can funds be held in my LeveledSMPro project account?

You’re able to hold money in your project account for up to 90 days.
